You always write insightful, thought-provoking articles, Mr. Romero. You ask in this one what does it mean to treat someone like a machine? You monitor every second of every workday and refuse workers the ability to pee when necessary, as Amazon does. It means women consigned to endure 60-80 men fucking them per day, as the Japanese did and many bordellos do across this planet today. It means sending soldiers to die and be mutilated in war. It means sending children into dangerous mines for raw materials we use in our many devices. It means requiring 90 hour work weeks from all workers, as they do in China right now. There are many such examples in the present and the past. I wish all folks had your sense of ethics and morals.
