Thank you, President & First Lady Obama

Like many of us, you have ancestors from more than one race. You endured a lot of grief due to this fact. You give me hope because many USAmericans are bastard children born of two races who no race much wants or likes, but we keep going.

You displayed true Care for The People of this country. All.the.People.

You lived transparently because you could. You really do love each other, your families, and The People of this country.

You acted like it.

You took the deep bench of the experts inherited from previous Administrations seriously and put those folks to work serving The People.

You took climate change seriously and began moving us in a Green direction.

You took child nutrition seriously and began moving us in an evidence-based nutrition direction.

You planted the seeds of Universal Health Care in the USA with the Affordable Care Act.

You liberated our LGBTQ family, friends, and colleagues from centuries of oppressive laws.

You embraced religion as defined in our Constitution: no state religion, respect for all religions.

These fundamental achievements have been knawed at by those opposed to Democratic political objectives.

I am a Warren Democrat and we are fighting now to keep those achievements intact.

You are my beacon of hope and why I won’t give up until I breathe no more.

I know many of us feel this way.
