I have found this to be true. While all tools are human-made, and humans are made from conception through grave by Nature (adapting to the environment around us), that does not include a rigorous form (do try being a medical professional to encounter our variability at all levels), yet we behave as though we make no tools, and they exist due to something outside us. Our self exists outside us too. Do read Heidegger and any philosophy or AI blog you care to read, for the most part. It remains for the next generation to outline how all the fields of endeavor cause humans to grow, bloom, and create (we create tools as well as music, movies, laws, governments, etc.). We won't get there for at least fifty years if we started on this project now; this assumes we realize we arise from Earth (genes, epigenes) instead of offing ourselves because we continue to think we arise from nothing but our minds (we don't know what those are) and act as though the world is stupid and we are not. Gosh. Yes, we have a ways to go.
